Retreats and workshops with a deposit

• For any workshops or retreats that have a deposit, the deposit is non-refundable unless your space can be filled by someone who is on the wait list. There are no refunds issued after the final payment date deadline, regardless of whether your space can be filled or not.

Retreat Policies

• Retreat deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable unless your spot can be filled by someone on the waitlist.

• Once the Final Retreat Payment has been made, there are no refunds for any reason, if you cancel or don't show up.

• If the Retreat is RESCHEDULED due to unforeseen circumstances, your payments to Yoga Del Mar / Geri Portnoy will automatically be rolled over to the next Retreat scheduled. Should you not be able to join the Future Retreat, you have one week to notify Geri Portnoy in writing to cancel your reservation with both the Retreat Center and us, in which case you will receive a refund of your Final Payment from Geri Portnoy. Your deposit is non-refundable. Your Payments to the Retreat Center directly are governed by their policies. Please check their web site for updated details.

• After you have been rolled over to the Future Retreat, there are no refunds of any payments made to Yoga Del Mar/Geri Portnoy.

• Refunds from individual Retreat Centers are as per their individual cancellation policies.

• In the event the chosen Retreat Center becomes unavailable (due to natural disaster, for example), Retreat will be moved to a comparable Retreat Center.

YOGA CLASS Policies

I hereby agree to the following:

1. That I am participating in the Yoga Classes or Workshops offered by Geri Portnoy. during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga and health. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

2. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Yoga Classes or Workshops. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition, which would prevent my full participation in the yoga classes or workshops.

3. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga Classes or Workshops, I after to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.

4. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Yoga Classes and Workshops, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Geri Portnoy, Yoga of Awakening or Yoga Del Mar for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

5. I, my heirs, or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Geri Portnoy, Yoga of Awakening, or Yoga Del Mar for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
